Privacy policy

The short version
We collect nothing. Folded has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no servers of ours. Your writing is stored only on your iPhone — it never leaves the device, and no one but you can read it.
What the app stores, and where
- Your writing stays on your iPhone, in a local store on the device. It is never sent anywhere — no cloud of ours, no iCloud sync, no network call. We have no access to it and cannot read it.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. We receive no name, address or payment details.
- App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected — and this policy is written to match it exactly.
This website
No cookies, no analytics, no embedded third-party content. The web server keeps standard technical access logs (IP address, time, page) for operation and security, retained briefly and used for nothing else (our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site).
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the full set of rights under the GDPR — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability — over any personal data we process. Your writing lives only on your iPhone and is yours to access and delete directly (Settings › delete everything); for anything else, contact us and we’ll respond promptly.
